I just wanted to thank this website and Paul for all his help as I have now been offered £680 for my computer that failed after 18 months from PC World. I am delighted that it is now resolved and have been given a sensible amount of money to replace my laptop wihtout it having to go through the courts.

It has taken months of research, letters and fighting but I got there in the end and it really is thanks to the help provided on this website. Without it I would have never known the process and likely would have given up long before.

Anyone who has had this happen to them, follow all the steps provided here and take it all the way because you really can get a resolution.

That is the sad part in all of this. There must be literally thousands of customers sitting with defective laptops and with absolutely no idea that they were doomed to fail prematurely. I am glad you found us and that we were able to help you.
