Hi, Well today came and went. No body turned up to collect the laptop so thats a day wasted. I will contact Aldi tomorrow morning to find out why.

Hi everyone, not much of an update this time. I phoned Aldi yesterday 06/03/12 to let them know that my laptop had not been collected and I asked the person that I spoke to if they could pass that infomation onto the area manager that had phoned me on Monday 04/03/12. I did give them the name of the area manager that I had spoken to so hopefully either she or Aldi will at some time call me back.

Thats all for now.

Hi everone again, a same day update. Just had a call from Medion. The guy appologised for the non collection and has arranged collection for tomorrow, so we will wait and see.

Hi everyone, a short update. There has been contact between myself and medion, but unfortunately I beleave that it would not be prudent to update this thread at this time. The only thing that I feel that I am able to say at this time is that my gut feeling was spot on. As soon as I am able I will of course update this thread with the details, both good and bad.

Hi Paul and to everyone else who have been reading and following this thread. Sorry for not updating everyone on what's been happening, but as things stand at the moment I feel that I am not able to give everyone a full and complete update as there are legal issues for me to consider and I do not want to compromise my position. I am still unable to say much at this time, but I do hope to be able to give an update very soon. :mrgreen: All that I can say is that both Aldi and Medion shot themselves in the foot and then went on to shoot each other in the foot. Unfortunately none of this friendly fire had anything to do with the sales of goods act directly. The sales of goods act for me is out of the picture.
