Hello all,

I was kindly forwarded the following letter from Staples by a forum member.

In it Staples admit that they cannot offer a repair due to "unreliable parts"

What a breath of fresh air that is - to actually hear a retailer admitting to this.

Other retailers, if they are reading this forum, should take note of this letter as it adds credence to all we have said regarding the unreliability of available spare parts.

Best wishes

that's one of the best things I've seen so far regarding the NVIDIA Defect.

The other best thing is the video of the NVIDIA CEO admitting the faults.

Hopefully the laptop owner received a full refund on the laptop rather than a replacement unit.

This is even MORE evidential than the video of the CEO!!!

If you're a victim of this defect and are experiencing a struggle with the retailler then present them with a copy of this letter! If they fail to comprehend the symbolism of it then or believe it to be a forgery then demand they contact the author directly through the customer support email address located on the top of the letter.

TEACH THESE OTHER RETAILLERS (PC World, Comet, etc) A LESSON BY SHOWING THEM AN EXAMPLE OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

If I get a refund from Comet I will look to buy from Staples next time. It looks like they have a bit more of a customer service ethos about them. Of course if Comet come through without me having to start court proceedings then they would stay in the picture too.
