I would just like to vouch for Paul's brilliant service at Lapcure. The engineers report was very thorough, was dealt with quickly and was accepted straight away from Play.com, it just took a while for my sister to get around to sending it!. Play.com refunded £200 and also £65 for the engineers repo...

Have you had many stories on the credit card companies paying out?
Are they likely to need an engineers report or is the Sony admission likely to be enough evidence?

Hello Morten, There is an official statement with regard to the Sony all-in-one's though not with the HP's, though when you consider the number of HP's that are actually affected against the number they have admitted are defective then there is no surprise ...

... The problems you describe are symptomatic of the Nvidia defect so I would say it is highly likely that your laptop has the defect. Hi Paul I wonder if there are official statements from HP and Sony regarding these All-in-one PCs? I suppose I could use that as documentation too. I doubt I'll get any further with the contacts I have as of now - but in case I email Tim Cook or something ...
