Hello again, for anyone wanting to know about that Sony I mentioned before the customer got his board sorted with a soldering company.

So for today's Nvidia Fault we have the Packard Bell Easynote MB88-P-003, purchased from PC World!

The Customer has asked me for a engineer's report regarding the matter, seems that PC World will pay out on completion of a good report.

Now What I'm asking is how to make a good report, i.e one with the correct keywords and correct jargon etc etc.

Hello David,

Your report will need to show the procedure that you have undertaken in order to come to the conclusion that the laptop is inherently defective.

You will also need to document the tests that you perform and the results.

I cannot tell you verbatim what to write, but you should ensure that the test that you perform means that the report is 100% conclusive.

You would also be wise to include a bit of an overview on what the Nvidia defect is, just in case it goes to court and the judge may never have heard of it.

I hope the above helps.

Good luck and best wishes

Paul

Thank you Paul,

I think I will pass your details onto the Customer, as you have experience in dealing with this, and have to say that £65 collected is more than a fair price!

Perhaps I can be some kind of referrer? :)
