Hi Paul, if there is one thing I can not stand is to be lied to or ripped off and PC World seem to be trying to do both.

They try to make things so difficult I think they hope you will just not think it's worth bothering about.

I'll let you know the out come after the phone call Saturday.

:! Hi, update about my laptop, after 2 weeks of being told that the laptop was still waiting to be inspected I informed PC World last week that my house insurance legal help line needed some details from them so that they could be ready to act if needed.

Surprises, 2 days later I had a phone call to say that it did have the Nvidia fault and was unrepairable and another call today to tell me that £275 will be put into my bank within 5 days, not as much as I had hopped for but at this stage I will accept it and its money towards a new laptop.

It didn't cost me any thing to have PC World inspect it because I refused point blank to pay and that any inspection was at their expense and so they had to issue a £50 goodwill voucher to pay for it, what a performance.

I didn't see the point in arguing over a few pounds but did tell them I would not be buying from them, been to John Lewis and bought one from them.

(Bought an HP laptop so if it needs repairing I might need your address)



So a big THANK you for your advice and help.
