Purchased From: High Street Store
Amount Paid: 499
Date Purchased: 24 Apr 2008
Date Failed: 07 Sep 2010
Bought from PC World in 2008. Died in Sept.2010 After a couple of letters direct to HP, which were ignored, started CC claim. Now on letter no3 from Shoosmiths with a repair and 3 months warranty offer but this won't do so will persevere. More Anon

Hello Adrian and welcome to our forum.

Sorry to hear that your laptop has failed.

I am a little confused. You stated that you purchased from PC World but you are in communication with Shoosmiths Solicitors, who act for HP.

Please don't say that you have instigated a small claims action against HP.

Have you obtained an engineers report yet and if so what does it state?

Please let me know and I will advise further.
