Hi all

Just got off the phone to Dixons, offered me £495 gift card for my 2 year old dv9267ea, all good to me, couldn't be happier!! AND they are refunding the money for the report so we are all good. Could NOT have managed without help from Paul, top bloke and bit of an expert ;)

Thanks paul and best of luck to anyone else who is trying to resolve issues!!

Have been in a battle with Currys over the failure of a hp dv2630, all the usual problems, 6+ desktop images etc, overheating, eventually failed to run at all. HP no help at all. Currys did offer £375 gift card which I accepted, but not really enough for only 18 months use, only 13 months trouble free. Found this forum after the event!
