Really not sure what to do here i have to bring the laptop up to the store today so they can comfirm the fault , And they have told me the refund will be around 450 and 500 euro. I paid 1000 for the laptop 2 years ago , does this sound fair to you ??? I reall ythought i would get more considering i didnt break it they sold it to me faulty ! Leaving in an hour so if any one has any input i would really appreciate it. Thanks

Hello Tuts and welcome to our forum.

Well, by my calculations the minimum they should be offering you is £483.

This is based on the £1,000 purchase price and the 31 months usage that you have had.

It is not a huge amount of money but is on a par with what the courts would award should you proceed to litigation.

Brilliant thanks i guess im lucky to have it resolved so quick looking at some of the storys on here. Althought i have to bring it back now to where i bought it so they can comfirm the fault im a bit wary of that but they are doing it for free so hopefully it will all work out.
