Hello Mark,
Apart from the fact that the laptop was purchased with a company credit card have PC World provided any further proof that the sale was a business one?
You should contact PC World again and request a copy of the sales receipt. They provided copy receipts many, many times so there should be no problem with that.
Only then can you know what is detailed on the invoice.
The method of payment is irrelevant if, for example, you were buying the laptop but the company was lending you the money to pay for it.
PC Worlds Terms And Conditions of sale specifically exclude all rights under the Sale Of Goods Act when the sale is made to a business purchaser.
However, they cannot simply state that it is a business sale and should provide a copy of the invoice in order to corroborate their claims.
I hope the above helps.
Any questions please let me know.
Best wishes
