Well done on your success

I was halfway up a mountain on Friday when I remembered that it was your day in court and have been wondering how you got on.

I would bet that if you had proceeded into court then the judge would have used the five year rule and you may have squeezed a little more out of them but then at least you are at the end of the road and have come out with a nice fat cheque.

Blimey - what is it with successes this last week or so - they seem to be never ending

Unfortunately, there's always a bit of a gamble when it comes to court proceedings and I think you probably made the right choice splitting the difference. At least it meant that you weren't running the risk of getting a 'rogue' judge making an odd order (it happens sometimes )
