Hello Saintyeti and welcome back to our forum.

Sorry to hear that your laptop has failed again.

This is one of the reasons why I try and encourage customers to reject offers of a repair in the absence of a written guarantee.

You should now proceed with PC World exactly as you did before.

You will need to send them a letter before action and in that you should state that your laptop has been recently repaired due to the Nvidia defect and has failed again.

You should also state in that letter that you will only accept a refund or replacement laptop due to the previous repair which failed.

If they fail to respond to the letter then you should proceed with an engineers report. If they fail to respond to the report then you should sue them.

Your case is actually quite strong due to the previous failure and PC Worlds insistence that the repair would be free from the defect, which it obviously wasn't.

If you need any help or advice during your claim then please let me know.

Best wishes

Paul
