I don't really know the inside of a PC that well, the main fan and graphics card fan are fine, i would'nt know where thermal paste is?

Also, with regards to me saying PC World is the defendant, they changed the name to DSG.

Regards

Lee

Hello Lee,

Well, in the absence of a further inspection it is difficult to say exactly what is causing your problems.

But needless to say that the history of repairs that your PC has undergone shows that it is a lemon and is indeed not fit for purpose.

I cannot see PC World allowing this to go all the way to court so fingers crossed they capitulate at the 11th hour.

It is good news that the name has been changed from PC World to DSGI Limited on the court documents as this will prevent any problems in the future.

Fingers crossed for you. :x

Best wishes

Paul

Hello John and welcome to our forum.

Have you checked on the Royal Mail site to see if the letter has been signed for?

If it has then you should contact PC World and should tell them that you have proof that they are in receipt of your letter before action and you should ask if they are prepared to make an offer at this stage before further costs are incurred.

If they agree then great. If they refuse then you should move on to the next step in the step by step guide.

You haven't mentioned what problems you were having with your laptop.

If you can let me know I will advise further.

Best wishes

Paul
