Hello Balders,
Did you pay for the laptop through Ebay? If so I guess you paid via Paypal? If that is the case can you log in to your Paypal account to see if you can extract any information from that.
I note from a previous post that you stated that you purchased this as a refurbished laptop. It is ridiculous for them to insist on seeing a copy of the invoice.
If they are a legitimate company then they should keep copies of all invoices for six years so they should easily be able to see exactly what you purchased. I think that it is just a fob-off to insist on the original invoice and I think that the judge would agree.
As long as you can prove purchase then it is for them to prove that it was anything other than a refurbished laptop like you have stated.
If they don't have a copy of your original invoice then the question has to be asked why not.
Don't let them fob you off Balders, send them whatever you have and tell them that unless they comply you will continue to the small claims court.
I hope the above helps.
Any questions please let me know.
Best wishes
