Hi guys, please help.
Last Friday (Sept 17) my laptop just encountered a very weird problem.while i was watching a movie my laptop started to hang.
so what i did was restart it using ctrl alt del, however since it was
already late at that time i didn't notice that i clicked the wrong keys. so after realizing that it's the wrong keys, i begin to panic and luckily i was able to click the right keys. so that's it, my laptop started to shut down, after few minutes it restarted, but the problem is, the display in my monitor was divided into 8 with almost an inch thick of black screen in the middle of the screen. the right side of the laptop's screen has 3 full mini display and 1 display with 1/3 of it shown. the left side is the same with the right but it is smaller and the display only shows 4/5 of the real screen.
at first i thought it was just a bug or caused by the wrong keys i entered so i restarted it again. but it's still the same. and when i tried troubleshooting the hardware and devices, the result says. "Problem detected with NVIDIA GeFORCE 8400M G', and if i try viewing the details it says:
Driver date: 1/20/2008
Driver Version: 7.15.11.6762
Driver signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher
'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code
43)".

i tried updating it and it says that:
"the best driver software for your device is already installed. Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date."

please help, my warranty was already due. if its possible can you send/post the directions on how to fix my laptop. thanks

my laptop is Aspire 4520G with:
- AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile Technology TL-62 (2.1 GHz, 2 x 512 KB L2 cache)
- Up to 896 MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M G TurboCache
-2 GB DDR2
-160 GB HDD
- originally installed with Windows Vista, but due to virus, i 'clean'
installed it with windows 7 professional 32 bit
